At The Citadel, we believe that children are not the church of tomorrow. They are the church of today. Our mission is to create a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where every child can encounter God, grow in truth, and discover who they are in Christ.
Safety and love are our top priorities. Every child is valued, protected, and welcomed into an atmosphere of joy, fun, and belonging. We believe that learning about God should be both exciting and deeply meaningful, and filled with laughter, worship, and moments of true spiritual encounter.
We teach the historic Protestant catechisms and the foundational doctrines of our faith, helping our children memorize Scripture and understand what they believe and why. However, we don’t stop at knowledge alone. We teach them in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that every child can hear God’s voice, walk in His presence, and experience the manifestation of His Spirit because there is no “junior Holy Spirit.”
At The Citadel, we recognize that our children are gifted, anointed, and called. They are not spectators but participants in the life of the church. Our kids lead worship, play instruments, and serve alongside adults during our Sunday services. They learn to minister with confidence, joy, and humility.
Citadel Kids is more than a program. It is a movement to raise a generation rooted in Scripture, filled with the Spirit, and equipped to change the world.
